Pupils are supervised by OVS staff from 8.10 – 4.00pm as part of an extended school day. Activities outside of these times may be charged for, as follows:
TERM TIME Wrap Around Care
Breakfast Club from 7.30 am – Booking essential
Breakfast Club is run by an OVS staff member and is open to all pupils from 7.30am. A light breakfast can also be provided, if required. Booking is essential the day before through the school office.
For attendance between 7.30 and 8.10 the cost is £5.00 per child. Breakfast (cereal and/or toast) can be provided for an additional £3.
Wrap around care
Children can remain at OVS until 4pm with no additional charge. Thereafter, pupils can attend a variety of clubs until 4.45pm as follows:
3.30 – 4.00pm EYFS and KS1 Clubs and activities
3.30 – 4.00pm KS2 Prep session
4.00 – 4.45pm Pre Prep Late Room (EYFS and KS1)
4.00 – 4.45pm KS2 Clubs & Activities
4.45 – 6.00pm Abbey Club – light tea provided
At 4.45pm if not collected, children go into Abbey Club, where they can play, relax in front of a film and enjoy a light tea. Children can be collected anytime up until 6pm. Charges apply to all the activities above, after 4.00pm.
Holiday Care
A number of OVS staff offer clubs to children throughout the holiday periods at Christmas, Easter and throughout the summer. Children can participate in activities they love in the gardens they love.Soccestars, a local and well respected sports club, offer multisport activities also. Holiday Club dates are published in advance and must be booked and paid for to secure a place (places are limited for the safety of the children on site).
