The Next School

Old Vicarage School is a truly independent preparatory school. Whilst we maintain excellent relationships with many independent senior schools, we have no affiliations or ties to them in the same way that other preparatory schools do. This allows valuable time for us to assist pupils and parents when deciding which school to choose next, based upon the needs of your child.

Our Year 6 pupils move onto a range of top independent schools and also local secondary schools. Many of those continuing in the independent sector do so with scholarships for academics, music, sport and art.

We will advise you on the options available and help place your child in the right senior school for them. Information evenings are arranged to help parents with the options available to their child. Preparation includes interview practice, entrance examination preparation and guidance throughout the process.

We boast a 100% success rate in achieving entry for our pupils into their first choice schools.
